Danny Brown. Austin, TX.
By far the most difficult show I've ever shot. And I used to photograph metal shows from the front of the crowd. This shit can be hard, straight up. You never know what kind of lighting you're gonna get at a show and so you make the best to capture the vibe with what you got.
High energy.
Detroit's Danny Brown brought his eclectic style to Austin and Austin ate that shit up. I had a blast shooting this show even though I feel like I didn't come home with much. But therein lies the challenges of photography....At the end of the day, the number of images isn't always as important as the quality. So rather than flood you all with images I am kinda happy with, I decided to share the few I was completely happy with. It was a trapped out show in damn near complete darkness save for the blue and purple lights that kept this show embedded in the vibe that is Danny Brown. And really, would you have it any other way?
